Project: Kauri Cliffs

Mission: Eco-land Ltd was invited by Kauri Cliffs Farm to provide Native Plant revegetation plans and implementation pricing for a project of replanting a 10ha cut over Pine forest in indigenous tree species.

The 4year staged planting plan has seen the successful establishment of + 50,000 native plants. The plantings were done in a manner that promotes future indigenous tree harvest. The planted forest has been registered with MAF and harvest rights have been secured for future land owners should they wish to harvest.

Eco-land Ltd provided design, planning, planting and maintenance of the planted area until the trees were established. Trees were grown by Eco-lands Nursery at Kaeo or supplied by Kerikeri Plant Production and Alternative Nurseries.
